We had a request to modify our SMK 101 keyboard from Ivory to black. Since we are the manufacturer of this product we expidited the parts needed from our Taiwan office instead of waiting the 4 weeks lead time before our next shipment. We trashed our Glendale warehouse making the modification required. I’ve worked for many companies and this would never have been a consideration because every department has specific responsibilities within the corporation.
