SMK101 Financial keyboard DSI has begun shipping the SMK101 black keyboard as of June 1st. the long awaited keyboard was backorder due to touchpad delay from the manufacturer. The SMK101 keyboard was designed for financial applications and initially it was utilized by the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX). The keyboard has Cherry Mechanical MX switch for long time cycles. This keyboard is a unique keyboards with two different layouts - Data entry and Numeric entry. DSI has posted a Youtube video showing how the user can change the layout by themselves. This keyboard interface is PS/2 for the keyboard and PS/2 for touchpad. A USB adapter can be used to make it USB compatible. This keyboard has all the keys as in a full size keyboard but 2/3 the width to be placed in a space saving environment.
